White-metal edge binding of a ?purse frame, with wood remains

Two corner pieces of silver binding, semi-circular sectioned to grip the edges of some flat wooden object - wood remains in one. Lengths 2.4cm and 1.5cm (longest sides). Either end decorated with transverse grooves, and sides pierced laterally by silver rivets to hold the binding in place. Purse frame - cf. Chessell Down. Holkin 1855, fig. p. 33. [sketch] these pieces are exactly the same.
