Two copper-alloy Roman coins
Two Roman coins, both Marcus: 1) large 1st century(?) very worn - diam. 2.8cm (AS 80)2) diam approx. 3cm - very square. The two coins described by SCH belonging to grave 4 match the objects AS 80 & AS 81. These do not seem to match the identifications by Brent. The label on the bag in which the coins are stored in the Maidstone Museum indicated that AS 80 is \Sest. Marcus\" and AS 81 is \"Vitorinus? radiate\". – D.H. & B.B."
