Pair of iron shears with leather remains

Pair of iron shears, usual type, length 23cm. Traces of leather on both surfaces, as if they were in a sheath. The 'keeper' mentioned by Brent is in fact a fragment of a bone comb - part of the backplate of a double-sided variety with 1 iron rivet visible, stuck to the blades by corrosion, by left side with knife, keys and weaving sword.Accession number KAS 806 assigned from Payne 1892a, 36.
