Iron shield boss, with radial iron bands? (lower burial)

Lower burial. Umbo with iron bands to rim of shield. Fastening studs still intact.The reference in Dickinson and Härke 1992, 29 to 'radial iron bands' found in Sarre Grave 3 should probably read 'Grave 39'. – B.B.
