Polychrome bead, diam. 1.6 cm; truncated bicone of pale olive translucent glass with opaque yellow marvered decoration applied on surface only in all-over curvaceous herring-bone, leaf-vein, type of design, very skilfully and delicately done.This catalogue number is used for five other bead collections, most from unknown locations in Gilton, one from Grave 19. – D.H.
