Bronze buckle, with plate, length 10.7cm. Extremely narrow, oval loop, with straight bar. Triangular plate, with rounded expansions at top side and foot for rivet with now missing domed caps. The plate folded over bar at top, where cut into two tabs to admit tongue. On back a separate sheet bronze plate riveted over tabs, and clamped to front and to belt by the rivets, with bronze washers, at back, which were masked by the dome-heads. Traces of leather on back of upper plate. Tongue thick, with thin shield shaped back.
