Copper-alloy buckle and plate

Bronze buckle and plate, present max. length 3.5 cm. Width of loop 1.55cm. Oval loop with batches of tolled lines at intervals, tongue looped over hinge-bar, grooved at base and waisted. Front-plate of thing sheet bronze, triangular with slight lobes at upper corners, riveted - top of plate broken but originally pointed, with rivet. This front plate cut to fit tongue, bent over hinge-bar and finished in short tab at back. Over this was laid a thin back-plate, matching that at front, and riveted to it.
