Copper-alloy arm ring

online resource

Well made stout bronze wire arm ring, max. diam. 7.6cm. Wire very stout, circular section diam. max. 0.35cm, tapering at ends to very fine. Fastened by the usual 'sliding knot' mechanism by ends being brought into circle, overlapped and twisted tightly on either side 5 aside. So tight is the mechanism one wonders whether it ever adjusted. The bracelet is large enough to go over my own hand. Iron staining on wire in various places. Found actually on the arm bones, bones inside ring.
