A very small tumulus. The grave was about two feet and a half deep from the natural surface of the ground. The skeleton lay with its feet to the east; the bones were almost gone. It was very manifest that the deceased had been buried in a wooden coffin, which had passed the fire. Nothing was found, except the blade of a knife; and a small iron buckle (as Gilton, No. l).
